The Powder Horn
A premier private golf community located in Sheridan, Wyoming, featuring a 27-hole championship golf course.
- Established in 1997, The Powder Horn is owned and operated by the Scott family.
- The 27-hole course offers three nine-hole sections (Stag, Eagle, Mountain) measurings 3,824, 3,654 and 3,525 yards from the championship tees, respectively.
- Features bentgrass greens, bluegrass/fescue roughs, and stunning views of the Big Horn Mountains.
- Offers a pool, tennis courts, fitness center, clubhouse, and dining facilities.
- The 4th hole on the Stag nine provides a demanding tee shot followed by an equally challenging approach to the green.
- The course is open from April to October, with varying conditions due to Wyoming's high-altitude climate.
- The course is a two-hour drive south from the Billings Logan International Airport. Head south on I-90 W from Billings and take exit 23 for Sheridan. Follow WY-337 S to Big Horn Ave.
- The Powder Horn is approximately a 15-minute drive from Sheridan County Airport. Accommodations can be found in the nearby town of Sheridan.
