- Dating back to 1890, the Plainfield Country Club has been owned by the membership since its inception.
- 18 holes, par 72, playing just over 7,000 yards from the championship tees.
- Aesthetically and strategically placed bunkers, natural water hazards, tree-lined fairways, and large, undulating greens.
- Other amenities include tennis courts, a pool, and dining and banquet facilities.
- The par-4 7th hole and signature par-3 3rd hole, both with challenging water hazards.
- The club operates all year round, though peak season is from April to October.
- From Newark Airport, take I-95 S, NJ-81 S and I-287 S to Maple Ave in South Plainfield. Take the Maple Ave exit from I-287 S and continue on Maple Ave. Drive to Woodland Ave in Edison.
