Desert Mountain Club
Desert Mountain Club is one of the largest and most prestigious private golf clubs in the world, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It features seven world-renowned golf courses with varying design and difficulty.
- The club was established in 1986 by Taliesin Associated Architects of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. It is a private member-owned club.
- The seven courses span over 500 acres each, with course ratings ranging from 69.2 to 74.3.
- Each course offers unique landscape and game-play. There are desert courses, a heritage course, a mountain course, a canyon course and the No. 7, a par-54, 18-hole golf course.
- Amenities include a fitness center, spa, tennis courts, swimming facilities, dining spaces, and over 15 miles of private hiking trails.
- Signature holes vary across courses. On Cochise course, the 15th hole is a fan favorite, whereas on Chiricahua course, the 7th hole is stunning.
- Golf is playable year-round due to the sunny climate of Arizona. However, summers can be extremely hot.
- The club is a 40-minute drive northeast from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and about a 30-minute drive north from downtown Scottsdale.
- Several resorts and hotels are available nearby for non-resident members and guests. Scottsdale Municipal Airport is a short drive away.
