- The club was founded in 1928, and it's widely known for its rich history, traditional setting and strict privacy. Its ownership remains private.
- Comprises an 18-hole golf course, par 72, stretches out to 6,524 yards.
- Features include towering Monterey Pine trees, cliff-edge fairways, and three holes which sit right along the Pacific Ocean.
- Primarily focused on golfing, limited other amenities, but they do offer a pro shop and a clubhouse with dining facilities.
- The 15th, 16th, and 17th holes that play alongside the Pacific Ocean.
- Club is playable year-round, with the best weather typically in late summer and early fall.
- About two-hour drive south from San Francisco or just 15 minutes away from the Monterey Regional Airport.
